Our family is preparing for an exciting (and stretching!) new season as we relocate to Pyeongtaek, South Korea to serve at an international church. With this calling comes the very real costs of international relocation and transition. In full transparency, this is a salary-based position, and we are receiving a small relocation as part of accepting the role. As we have started to prepare, we have realized a need for additional funds to make this transition successfully without putting a large financial burden on our family.
Some of the expenses we are incurring include:
📦 Shipping essentials overseas (clothing, books, household basics)
🏠 Potential temporary housing during the move
🔑 Costs (some unexpected) associated with selling our home in the U.S.
🪑 Household setup expenses in South Korea (furniture, appliances, air purifiers, kitchen items, linens, dehumidifiers, etc.)
🎒 Educational and homeschooling supplies for June while stateside and upon arrival (registration fees, tuition, curriculum)
✈️Travel necessities and comforts for us and the girls
💻Fees associated with running this site
